We are families, advocates, educators, researchers, and policy influencers
Established in 2017, Texas FASD Network is the only organization in Texas uniting the concerns of families with the field’s leading advocates, experts, and allied healthcare professionals to improve the system of care for individuals with prenatal alcohol exposure through advocacy, education, and support.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) are estimated to affect 1 in 20 children in the United States. FASD is associated with physical differences, including emotional and psychosocial development.
For these individuals, adaptive functioning, self-regulation, and ______ are difficult, and can ultimately affect their behavioral, physical, and emotional development. Yet, there is no functional system of care for FASD in Texas.
