Who We Are

We are families, advocates, educators, researchers,
and policy influencers.
We are change makers.

Established in 2017, Texas FASD Network is the only organization in Texas uniting the concerns of families with the field’s leading advocates, experts, and allied healthcare professionals to improve the system of care for individuals with prenatal alcohol exposure through advocacy, education, and support.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) are estimated to affect 1 in 20 children in the United States. FASD is associated with physical differences, including emotional and psychosocial developmental disorders. FASD, when unsupported can be extremely difficult for individuals and their families. Yet, there is no functional system of care for FASD in Texas. We are working to change that.

OUR MISSION

Support, educate, and advocate for those with prenatal alcohol exposure and the community serving them.

OUR VISION

Each person prenatally exposed to alcohol accesses appropriate interventions and accommodations to achieve their full potential and be empowered in all aspects of life.
